Pedestrian injured in Balaton accident
BALATON — A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle and injured in an accident reported Friday in Balaton, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office said.
The incident was reported at 2:10 p.m. on the 400 block of East U.S. Highway 14, the Sheriff’s Office said. A vehicle slid off the road and struck both a building and the pedestrian.
The pedestrian was taken to the emergency room with possible moderate injuries, the Sheriff’s Office said.
