One injured in Redwood Co. semi crash
REDWOOD COUNTY — A semi truck driver was injured Tuesday when his vehicle turned on its side, the Redwood County Sheriff’s Office said. Leroy Simpson Brown, 33, of Kansas City, Mo., was temporarily trapped in the truck after the crash, the Sheriff’s Office said.
The crash was reported at 11:48 a.m. Tuesday on Redwood County Road 46 near Redwood County Road 8. Brown lost control of the truck on a curve in the road, and the vehicle turned on its side, the Sheriff’s Office said. Bystanders were able to get Brown out of the vehicle, and he was transported to the Redwood Falls hospital with possible injuries, the Sheriff’s Office said.
