Crime and Accidents for Sept. 20

MARSHALL — A Minneota man, 46, was arrested on a Kandiyohi County warrant at 1:40 a.m. Sunday at the intersection of North Bruce Street and Willow Lane, Marshall Police said. The man was also cited for driving after revocation, ignition interlock violation, and not having proof of insurance, Police said.

MARSHALL — A report was sent to Stearns County probation for consideration of release condition violation charges against a Marshall man, 30, in an incident at 11:38 p.m. Saturday on the 200 block of West Main Street, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL — Two Marshall men, ages 30 and 19, were arrested for controlled substance possession in a traffic incident at 7:31 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of East College Drive and North Whitney Street, Marshall Police said. They were held for court in the Lyon County Jail pending formal charges from the county attorney’s office, Police said.

MARSHALL — A Marshall man 27, was arrested for DWI at 3:26 a.m. Saturday at the intersection of West Saratoga Street and West College Drive, and placed on a 12-hour hold at the Lyon County Jail, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL — Property damage reported at 2:15 a.m. Saturday on the 1300 block of Birch Street is under investigation, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL — A Marshall man, 36, was arrested for DWI – refusal to test, reckless driving and disorderly conduct at 1 a.m. Saturday on the 200 block of West Main Street, Marshall Police said. He was held for court at the Lyon County Jail, Police said.

MARSHALL — An incident reported at 3:27 p.m. Friday at the intersection of East Saratoga Street and James Avenue is under investigation, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL — Check fraud reported at 10:41 a.m. Friday on the 800 block of West Main Street is under investigation, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL — Property damage reported at 8:42 a.m. Friday on the 400 block of West College Drive is under investigation, Marshall Police said.

Accidents

MARSHALL — A 2016 Ford driven by a Marshall man, 48, and a 2008 Nissan driven by a Marshall man, 22, were involved in a collision at 6 p.m. Friday at the intersection of East College Drive and Minnesota Highway 19, Marshall Police said. No injuries were reported, Police said.
