BALATON — A woman was bitten by a dog in an animal complaint reported at 5:38 p.m. Thursday in Balaton, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Department said. The dog was put on a 10-day quarantine, the sheriff’s department said.
MARSHALL — Theft of a cell phone reported at 1:08 p.m. Thursday on the 125 block of F Street is under investigation, Marshall Police said.
MARSHALL — A 47-year-old man was arrested on a Blue Earth County warrant in an incident reported at 3:41 p.m. Thursday on the 400 block of Jewett Street, Marshall Police said.
MARSHALL — A motor vehicle was backed into by an unknown vehicle in a hit-and-run incident reported at 4:12 p.m. Thursday on the 1200 block of East Main Street, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL — A two-vehicle crash was reported at 7:56 a.m. Thursday on the intersection of Tiger Drive and North Minnesota Highway 23, the Marshall Police said. Both vehicles were towed, and there were no injuries, Police said.
