The Marshall Senior High Knowledge Bowl teams competed in regional Competition on March 8.

Three teams advanced to the Regional competition. The Marshall 1 team finished in fourth, Marshall 4 finished in 11th place and Marshall 3 finished in 18th place.

The top three teams in this tournament advance to the State Knowledge Bowl Tournament.

“We are very proud of our entire Knowledge Team (7th-12th grade) this year,” Coach Bessie Skalicky said. “They consistently competed well throughout the season and in the sub-regional and Regional competitions. They dealt with the added challenges due to COVID-19 making our season fully virtual in stride.

“We would like to thank the Southwest Service Cooperative, Marshall Public School Technology Department, our Athletic Director Bruce Remme, and the parents of our team members for their support and flexibility this season.”
