BALATON — A 35-year-old man was cited for speeding at 7:25 a.m. Wednesday at the intersection of 170th Street and Lyon County Road 5, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office said.

MARSHALL — A stray dog reported at 3:59 a.m. Wednesday on the 1500 block of State Street was taken to the kennel, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL — A violation of a domestic abuse no-contact order reported at 3:21 a.m. Wednesday on the 600 block of West Main Street is under investigation, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL — An animal complaint reported at 8:46 p.m. Tuesday on the 900 block of West Main Street is under investigation, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL — A 63-year-old man was cited for DWI-refusal to test, open bottle, and possession of a dangerous weapon at 5:14 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of North Seventh Street and West Lyon Street, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL — A 20-year-old woman was cited for a hands-free device violation at 1:54 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of Minnesota Highway 23 and U.S. Highway 59, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office said.

BALATON — A two-vehicle crash was reported at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the intersection of 141st Street and 155th Avenue, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office said. No injuries were reported, the Sheriff’s Office said.
