YELLOW MEDICINE COUNTY — A Montevideo man was injured in a crash involving a deer reported at 3:34 a.m. Saturday on U.S. Highway 212, west of Granite Falls, Minnesota State Patrol said. A 2006 Harley Davidson motorcycle driven by Donald Sears of Montevideo was traveling west from Granite Falls when it struck a deer in the roadway, State Patrol said. Sears was transported to the Granite Falls hospital with non life-threatening injuries, State Patrol said. The Granite Falls and Upper Sioux Police, along with the Granite Falls Ambulance, responded to the scene.
