Unhooked trailer led to Hwy. 59 crash
LYON COUNTY — A trailer hauling part of a wind tower ended up in the ditch off U.S. Highway 59 after coming unhooked, the Minnesota State Patrol said. However, the crash didn’t cause any injuries.
The crash was reported around 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, north of Marshall. A semi truck and trailer were transporting the middle section of a wind tower along Highway 59 when the trailer came unhooked from the semi and went into the ditch, said Sgt. Troy Christianson of the State Patrol.
While law enforcement did respond to the scene of the crash, Christianson said the highway was kept open during the incident. No injuries were reported.
