One injured in Highway 23 crash
HANLEY FALLS — A Marshall woman was injured in a two-vehicle crash Wednesday afternoon on Minnesota Highway 23, the Minnesota State Patrol said.
The crash was reported at 2:40 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 23 and 170th Avenue, south of Hanley Falls. The State Patrol said a 1990 Chevrolet pickup driven by Dorothy Pottratz, 80, of Wood Lake, stopped at the stop sign on 170th Avenue, and then entered the intersection and was struck by a southbound Chevrolet Equinox driven by Rita Carrera, 73, of Marshall.
Carrera was taken to the Granite Falls hospital with non life-threatening injuries, the State Patrol said. The Yellow Medicine County Sheriff’s Office also responded at the scene.
