Vehicle hits horse on Highway 19

MARSHALL — An early-morning collision involving a vehicle and a horse was reported on Minnesota Highway 19 east of Marshall on Monday, the Minnesota State Patrol said. The horse was killed, but no human injuries were reported, said Sgt. Troy Christianson, of the State Patrol.

The collision was reported at 4:34 a.m. Monday, at the intersection of Highway 19 and 320th Avenue in Lyon County. A crash report is still pending on the incident, Christianson said.
