BALATON — A report is pending on a theft at 4:55 p.m. Wednesday on the 300 block of Seventh Street, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office said.

MARSHALL — A 20-year-old man was cited for contempt of court at 11:07 a.m. Wednesday on the 600 block of West Main Street, Marshall Police said.
