Highway 14 crash injures Tracy woman

TRACY — A crash involving an SUV and a piece of farm equipment Tuesday morning on Highway 14 injured one person, the Minnesota State Patrol said.

The crash was reported at 9:35 a.m., on U.S. Highway 14 west of Tracy. A 2005 Ford Explorer driven by Karen Peterson, 73, of Tracy, and a self-propelled sprayer driven by Anthony Jandl, 28, of Balaton, were both westbound on Highway 14 when they collided, the State Patrol said. Peterson received non life-threatening injuries, and was taken to Sanford Tracy Medical Center, the State Patrol said.

The Balaton Fire Department, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office and Tracy Fire and Ambulance all responded at the scene of the crash.
