BALATON — An incident reported at 10:18 p.m. Thursday on the 2000 block of Minnesota Highway 23 is under investigation, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office said.

RUSSELL — A report is not complete on the theft of kayaks at 1:59 p.m. Thursday on the 1900 block of 175th Avenue, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office said.

MARSHALL — A boys’ style bicycle reported found at 10:54 a.m. Thursday on the 900 block of East Main Street was taken to the impound garage, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL — A 43-year-old man was cited for speeding at 9:50 a.m. Thursday at the intersection of 310th Street and Minnesota Highway 23, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office said.

MARSHALL — A calico cat was taken to the kennel in an animal complaint reported at 7:20 a.m. Thursday on the 600 block of South Second Street, Marshall Police said.

BALATON — An incident reported at 12:39 a.m. Thursday on the 100 block of North Central Avenue is under investigation, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office said.
