Two injured in Lincoln County crash

LINCOLN COUNTY — The Minnesota State Patrol said weather conditions affected a crash where two people were hurt on U.S. Highway 75 in Lincoln County Tuesday afternoon.

The crash was reported at 1:59 p.m. in Lake Benton Township, the State Patrol said. A southbound 2006 Chevrolet driven by Keith Dillon, 40, of Pipestone, and a northbound 2008 Chevrolet driven by Lisa Herbeck, 45, of Brooklyn Center, collided. Road conditions were snowy and icy at the time of the crash, the State Patrol said.

Both Dillon and Herbeck were taken to Avera Tyler Hospital with non life-threatening injuries, the State Patrol said.

Lake Benton Fire and Rescue, the Tyler Ambulance, Tyler Police and the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office all responded at the scene of the crash.
