Redwood County investigating checking account fraud
The Redwood County Sheriff’s office is investigating a fraud involving several automatic withdrawals from a personal checking account.
This fraud involved numerous withdrawals of approximately $25 over a course of four months, the sheriff’s department said.
Area residents are reminded to watch their accounts for any unauthorized charges. Residents are also reminded never to provide financial information over the phone.
