Crime/accidents for June 25

LYND – A verbal warning was given for loud music reported at 6:42 p.m. Monday on the 2300 block of Lyon County Road 5, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Department said.

MARSHALL – A violation of order for protection incident reported at 2:50 p.m. Monday on the 600 block of West Main Street is under investigation, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Department said.

MARSHALL – A Marshall man, 26, was cited for driving after revocation and failure to provide proof of insurance; and a Marshall man, 23, was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia in a traffic related complaint incident reported at 2:48 p.m. Monday on the 400 block of Redwood Street, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL – A gray kitten was taken to the animal impound in an animal complaint incident reported at 2:25 p.m. Monday on the 300 block of Jewett Street, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL – Theft of medication reported at 1:31 p.m. Monday on the 300 block of South Bruce Street is under investigation, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL – An Echo man, 28, was cited for shoplifting in an incident reported at 1:27 p.m. Monday on the 1200 block of Susan Drive, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL – Lost vehicle hubcaps were reported at 10 a.m. Monday on the 200 block of West Main Street, Marshall Police said.

Accidents

MARSHALL – A Marshall resident was injured in a three-vehicle crash reported at 5:56 p.m. Monday at the intersection of Minnesota Highway 23 and U.S. Highway 59, Marshall Police said. A 2010 Dodge driven by Cheryl Jeska of Marshall and a 2006 Dodge driven by a Minneota woman, 22, received moderate damage; and a 2014 Toyota driven by a Wabasso woman, 39, received light damage in the crash, Police said. Jeska received minor injuries and did not go to the hospital, Police said.
