Courts for June 14

MARSHALL – Toby James Paradis, 28, of Marshall, pleaded innocent in Lyon County District Court June 10 to two counts of second degree driving while impaired charges, driving after revocation and failure to keep right on the roadway charges. A complaint alleges Paradis drove while impaired in Tracy on June 29, 2013. A trial date was set for Aug. 27, with a date certain of Nov. 7. A pretrial hearing was set for Aug. 19.

MARSHALL – Abdikarim Mohamed Nur, 23, of Marshall, pleaded innocent in Lyon County District Court June 10 to charges of fleeing a peace officer in a motor vehicle, second degree driving while impaired – refusal to test, second degree driving while impaired, reckless driving and driving after revocation. A complaint alleges Nur drove while impaired and fled a traffic stop in Marshall on March 30. A trial date was set for July 16-17, with a date certain of Dec. 4-5. A pretrial hearing was set for July 8.

MARSHALL – Tyler Kelby Erickson, 25, of St. Cloud, appeared in Lyon County District Court June 10 on charges of third degree driving while impaired and driving after revocation. A complaint alleges Erickson drove while impaired in Marshall on April 5. A hearing was set for July 8.

MARSHALL – Lueck James Harris, 33, of Marshall, appeared in Lyon County District Court June 10 on charges of malicious punishment of a child and child endangerment. A complaint alleges Harris bit a child in Marshall on May 21. A hearing was set for June 24.
