MARSHALL -- The Trackchair all-terrain wheelchair has made it to the final four in this year's "Coolest Thing Made in Minnesota" contest. One final round of public voting remains before the winner is announced on Oct. 6 at the 2026 Manufacturer's Summit in Minneapolis.
ATZ Manufacturing's Trackchair is one of four finalists, along with Teardrop Trailers, the Fire Boss aerial firefighting system, and the Bair Hugger, a warming blanket system used for regulating the temperature of surgery patients.
This is the third year in a row that the Trackchair has advanced to the final four of the Coolest Thing Made in Minnesota contest. However, they have not come away with the title yet.
"Getting to the final four is an accomplishment in itself," said Doug Loon, president and CEO of the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce, in a news release. "Every product still in the competition tells a different story about what Minnesota manufacturers are building, the people behind those products and the communities they represent. We're looking forward to seeing which product voters choose as this year's Coolest Thing Made in Minnesota."
The final round of public voting in the contest runs until Tuesday, Oct. 6, at 11 a.m. People can vote online, at https://www.mnchamber.com/coolest-thing-made-minnesota.
