MARSHALL -- Area community members joined Southwest Minnesota State University in celebrating homecoming over the weekend. One of Saturday’s key events, the homecoming parade, had people lining up alongside main roads around campus. Parade floats and marchers traveled around the university campus, ending right outside the Schwan Regional Events Center, where the homecoming football game would be played.
