Why am I running for a school board seat?
I am running for a school board seat again because I have enjoyed serving my first term. I want to continue being a part of improvements and the building project for the school.
What are the major issues facing the District?
The major issues facing the District include finding, training, and retaining staff members, increasing number of unfunded mandates, and inadequate funding for meeting the needs of struggling learners.
What are the areas of concern regarding student achievement in the district?
The staff at Minneota Public Schools do an excellent job and the students’ scores reflect that, but there is always room for improvement.
