LYON COUNTY -- A report is being sent to the Lyon County Attorney's Office for consideration of charges in a two-vehicle crash that injured a motorcyclist, the Lyon County Sheriff's Office said. A Marshall male was airlifted to Sioux Falls after a crash Tuesday morning on Lyon County Road 9, said Sgt. Adam Connor of the Sheriff's Office.

The crash was reported at 11:29 a.m. on the 2500 block of Lyon County Road 9. A Buick sedan and a motorcycle were both southbound on County Road 9, when the motorcycle attempted to pass the sedan, Connor said. The sedan turned into a driveway, and the two vehicles collided, Connor said. The motorcycle went into the ditch, he said.

The driver of the motorcycle was airlifted from the scene.

Connor said a report was sent to the County Attorney's Office for consideration of charges against the driver of the sedan.
