I met my husband Rick at Lynd High and we were married after graduation in 1970. We have five children 14 grandchildren and 4 great grand children. My husband Rick passed away in 2019
I’m retired now but did work for the Marshall independent as a rout driver for 11 years and also for the schwan food company for 19 years. Once I retired I got a job driving school bus for Lynd public school. After Covid Lynd school no longer had their own bus service & went with Tyler bus service. I then worked at the Lynd school as a pera working with the students. Then the last couple of years I helped out in the lunch room at Lynd school.
Why am I running for a school board seat?
So I decided when I heard Lynd was having financial difficulties that I needed to run so I could help out and make sure that the people on the school board are more transparent with our community. And work together to better solve our problems.
