Personal (Occupation, Education, and Family):
I’m currently employed as a Porter with a strong community supporter Kruse Motors. Education: I’m a High school Graduate. N. Marion HS, Sparr Fl. Class of 1974. Major Agricultural and Auto Mechanic. I did complete one semester at Santa Fe CC. Gainesville Fl. But due to a family crisis I had to withdraw and never resumed my studies in electronics. I have learned a lot through life experiences. Family: I’m a widower. I lost my wife of 40 years in April 2018. I have three children and two grandkids.
Why are you running for a school board seat?
I’m running for the school board in hopes of using my skills and talents to improve a failing situation. I’m a Veteran of over 6 years in the Army and I don’t like how the future of our community, our country is being prepared.
What are the major issues facing the District?
Granted there is much to learn what’s going on in our school system. I feel we are relying on too many exotic systems, programs and they are not working, and we, the tax payers, are not getting our money’s worth. Plus the State is more concerned with pushing our children into a corrupt, degenerate woke mentality.
What are the areas of concern regarding student achievement in the district?
I feel there are forces outside our community that more concerned with teaching little boys they can become little girls. That little boys can play on girls sports more than if they can read, and math. Totally disregarding our true unbiased history and civics of the great country known to man.
Do you have specific suggestions for improvement?
Let me state again, I am not a expert in any form of education nor government agencies. But this I know, I am not a politician, the system is broke and changes must be made and not by throwing more money at it. I plan to investigate, to talk to as many participants in the system. From the bus drivers, cooks, teachers up. And most importantly listen to what they think, what believe and act on it.
