HOLLAND -- Two people were injured in a two-vehicle crash Wednesday near Holland in Pipestone County, the Minnesota State Patrol said. A Sioux Falls woman was taken to the Pipestone hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The crash was reported at 1:09 p.m. at the intersection of Minnesota Highway 23 and 140th Avenue. A 2011 Chevy Silverado driven by Tylan Ray Willia Gylling, 34, of Tyler, was southbound on Highway 23, and a 2022 Kia driven by Donald Harry Noyes, 76, of Sioux Falls, was northbound and making a turn onto 140th Avenue. The two vehicles collided, the State Patrol said.
Donald Noyes was transported to the Pipestone hospital with non life-threatening injuries, the State Patrol said. A passenger in the Kia, 72-year-old Sharon Ann Noyes, was also taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, the State Patrol said. Gylling and a passenger in the Chevy were uninjured.
The Pipestone County Sheriff's Office, Pipestone EMS, the Holland Fire Department and the Holland First Responders all responded at the crash scene.
