Trackchair makes top 8 ‘Coolest Things Made in MN’
Voting for next round of contest runs through Sunday

MARSHALL -- For the third time, the Marshall area community has helped put ATZ Manufacturing's Trackchair into the running for the title of "Coolest Thing Made in Minnesota." Hopefully, it can get enough support to claim that title, a company representative said this week.
"For a small manufacturing facility in a small town, we've made a big impact," said Adam Henning, marketing director at ATZ Manufacturing in Marshall. "Whether we win or not, we know our product is pretty cool."
This week, Trackchair made it into the top eight products in the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce's Coolest Thing Made in Minnesota contest. Members of the public have until midnight on Sunday to vote to determine the four finalists in the contest. People can cast their votes on the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce's website, at https://www.mnchamber.com/coolest-thing-made-minnesota.
The winner of the contest will be announced at the 2026 Manufacturer's Summit on Oct. 6.
Trackchair, an all-terrain motorized wheelchair, has made it into the final four of the contest for the past two years running.
"The Chamber has been giving us feedback that we have done very well despite our size," Henning said.
Being part of the contest has been a positive experience for ATZ, even beyond the possibility of winning, Henning said. Company representatives have been able to network with other manufacturers around Minnesota, and help raise awareness of issues affecting the manufacturing industry.
Henning said ATZ was appreciative of everything that the area community has done to help support the company and Trackchair.
"It's been a great event. Hopefully we win," he said.
However, the real impact Trackchair has made is in seeing how the product changes customers' lives.
