One injured in Hwy. 59 crash

YELLOW MEDICINE COUNTY -- A Marshall woman was injured in a one-vehicle crash Friday night on U.S. Highway 59, the Minnesota State Patrol said.

Ruth Abigail Hernandez, 21, received non life-threatening injuries, the State Patrol said.

The crash was reported at 10:45 p.m. in Normania Township, Yellow Medicine County. A 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by Hernandez was southbound on Highway 59 when it went off the road and rolled, the State Patrol said. Hernandez was transported to Avera Granite Falls with injuries.

The Yellow Medicine County Sheriff's Office, the Clarkfield Fire Department and Clarkfield Ambulance all responded at the crash scene.
