MARSHALL -- Students at Marshall High School started out homecoming week with a Monday assembly and coronation of homecoming royalty. Royal court members Kezlyn Pinckney, Laurel Ryks, Emma Hisken, Madi Mernaugh, Anna Thor, Kael Frana, Easton Jiskoot, Cannon Craigmile, Tyler Kraft and Noah Frazee were all formally welcomed to the assembly before the coronation.
After being crowned homecoming prince and princess, Cannon Craigmile and Laurel Ryks surprised the king and queen candidates by placing the crowns on their heads. First was homecoming king Kael Frana, who was crowned by Ryks. Then, homecoming queen Anna Thor was crowned by Craigmile.
