Two injured in Murray Co. crash

SLAYTON -- Two people were injured in a one-vehicle crash Thursday in Murray County, the Minnesota State Patrol said.

The crash was reported at 1:32 p.m. on Highway 267 in Slayton Township. A 2006 Ford Mustang driven by Abagail Elizabeth Cappotto, 16, of Slayton, was traveling northbound on Highway 267 when it left the roadway and rolled, the State Patrol said. Cappotto and a passenger in the vehicle, 18-year-old Kianndra Denano Fergen, of Lennox, S.D., were taken to the Slayton hospital with non life-threatening injuries, the State Patrol said.

The Murray County Sheriff's Office and Slayton Fire and EMS responded at the crash scene.
