Peter Borne, lead singer with the Whitesidewalls, got things happening during the first day of the Lyon County Fair Wednesday evening. in the middle of the band’s first set, Borne hopped off the main stage inside the Hoop Barn and then hopped on top of a table filled with fair goers listening to the ’50s rock ‘n’ roll tunes. He proceeded to walk from one end of the table to the other side, singing the whole time. There was plenty of action besides the show put on by the Whitesidewalls, from the annual steak fry to carnival rides to the Strongman and The bubble Factory.
