REDWOOD COUNTY — A Lucan woman was injured in a single-vehicle crash Tuesday evening on Minnesota Highway 68 in Redwood County, the Minnesota State Patrol said.

Sandra Jean Witzke, 73, was transported to Avera Marshall Medical Center with non life-threatening injuries, the State Patrol said.

The crash was reported at 6:17 p.m. near the intersection of Highway 68 and Redwood County Road 8. A 2009 Chevrolet Impala driven by Witzke was eastbound on Highway 68 when it went off the road and hit a sign, the State Patrol said. After hitting the sign, the vehicle went back across the roadway and into the opposite ditch.

The Redwood County Sheriff’s Office, Milroy First Responders, and Wabasso Ambulance all responded at the crash scene.
