MARSHALL — Drivers in Marshall should be aware of another new change to traffic starting today.

Representatives of R and G Construction said the intersection of West Redwood street and East College Drive downtown will be closed starting Tuesday for paving work.

At the same time, the intersection of West Lyon Street and East College Drive will be opened to allow traffic to cross.

The traffic changes will allow concrete and bituminous paving work to continue on East College Drive, said Erika Coudron of R and G. The Redwood Street intersection had been kept open for the past few weeks to allow local traffic a way to cross the construction zone.

Drivers should still show caution downtown, as there will still be workers and equipment present near the Lyon Street crossing.
