Lynd Public School Board Chair Suzie Rauch has been convicted of a third-degree DWI and has been placed on supervised probation for two years, according to Lyon County court records.

Rauch was charged with two gross misdemeanors and one misdemeanor on April 26 in Marshall by the Marshall Police Department. The misdemeanor charge was for obstructing legal process.

Rauch’s court hearing took place May 26, where she was convicted of the third-degree DWI of operating a motor vehicle with an alcohol concentration of 0.08 within two hours, with an aggravating factor, according to court records. The other two charges were dismissed.

Court documents state that Rauch’s alcohol concentration was measured at 0.18.

Rauch pled guilty to the DWI gross misdemeanor charge of having an alcohol concentration above the legal limit at her hearing date in May, stated in court documents.
