One injured in Lincoln County crash
HENDRICKS — One person was injured in a Friday afternoon crash involving a pickup truck and a UTV, the Minnesota State Patrol said. A 15-year-old boy was taken to the emergency room in Canby, the State Patrol said.
The crash was reported at 2:43 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 271 and 340th Street, north of Hendricks. A 1992 Chevrolet S10 driven by Daniel Lee Anderson, 70, of Astoria, S.D., was northbound on Highway 271, and a 2022 Polaris Ranger driven by the 15-year-old was westbound on 340th Street. The two vehicles collided at the intersection, the State Patrol said.
The State Patrol’s report said the driver of the Polaris was taken to the ER in Canby. The report did not identify the 15-year-old or say how severe his injuries were. Anderson and two passengers in the Chevrolet were uninjured.
The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office and Hendricks Ambulance responded at the crash scene.
