One injured in Hwy. 91 crash Friday
BALATON — A Lynd woman was injured in a one-vehicle crash Friday on Minnesota Highway 91 south of Balaton, the Minnesota State Patrol said.
Jolynn Renae Lemburg, 55, was taken to a hospital in Sioux Falls with non-life-threatening injuries.
The crash was reported at 7:52 p.m. Friday near the intersection of Highway 91 and 221st Street in Skandia Township, Murray County. A 1966 Ford Mustang driven by Robert Myrl Lemburg, 55, of Lynd, was northbound on Highway 91, when Lemburg lost control and crashed into the ditch, the State Patrol said. Jolynn Lemburg, a passenger in the vehicle, was transported to Sioux Falls with injuries. Robert Lemburg was uninjured, the State Patrol said.
Balaton Fire and Ambulance, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office and the Murray County Sheriff’s Office all responded at the crash scene.
