MHS students showcase talents

The Marshall High School Student Council hosted its Spring Talent Show Wednesday evening, showcasing a variety of talent and excitement among students.

There were six different acts that performed. Musical performance duo Karsten Springborg and Brennen Thooft took first place for their act of “Troubled Waters.”

The trio of Braeden Berreth, Drelyn Bady and Crimson Hall took second place, who were also a musical performance group and performed “Trapped Under Ice.” Third place went to Maddy Carrow and Natalie Shuckhart, who performed a marimba duet of “Vortex.”

Other participating groups included soloist Aiden Robert Miller with a performance art act, performing to “Creative Control.” Liam Beyer was also another soloist, who did a marimba solo to “Rain Dance.”

Musical performance group Sawyer Bresnahan, Anastasia Schulte, Nathan Larsen, Astrid Snyder and Antony Michael also performed to “Tequila.”

The competition was judged by a panel of high school staff and faculty, and was presented by the high school’s student council.
