MARSHALL — Marshall and area community members started their St. Patrick’s Day celebrations by participating in the annual Shamrock Shuffle 5K Run Saturday morning, hosted by the Marshall Area YMCA.
Around 95 participants registered for this year’s event, who took off from the YMCA parking lot Saturday morning and embarked on a 3.1 mile run or walk around Marshall.
The run ended at Brau Brothers Brewery, where people crossed underneath an inflatable arch and leprechaun to mark the end of their races in celebratory fashion.
