Lucan St. Patrick’s Day Parade is Sunday
LUCAN — Blizzard conditions last weekend got in the way of Lucan’s annual St. Patrick’s Day celebrations. But the festivities will still go on. Organizers said the 40th annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Lucan will be held Sunday instead.
According to the updated schedule on the event’s Facebook page, the St. Patrick’s Day Parade will start down Lucan’s Main Street at 1 p.m. Sunday.
People watching the parade can also enjoy other events that are planned Sunday afternoon. Knott’s Corner Bar & Grill will be opening at noon, and First Independent Bank will hold family activities from noon to 12:45.
Following the parade, events like a coin pond, a 50/50 duck race, a kids’ movie, Lucan booster club raffle drawing and the Lucan Lions meat bundle raffle, will be held at Knott’s Corner.
