Two injured in Murray County crash
MURRAY COUNTY — Two people were injured Monday in a collision involving a skid loader in rural Murray County, the Minnesota State Patrol said. An Iona man and a Balaton man were both taken to the emergency room in Slayton, the State Patrol said.
The crash was reported at 8:02 p.m., on Highway 267 in Slayton Township, Murray County. A 2024 Chevy Silverado driven by Lloyd Maynard Hindt, 84, of Iona, and a skid loader driven by Jake Lee Bleyenberg, 24, of Balaton, were both southbound on 267 at the time of the crash. The two vehicles made contact near the intersection of Highway 267 and 71st Street, the State Patrol said.
Both drivers were taken to the Slayton emergency room with non life-threatening injuries.
The Murray County Sheriff’s Office, Murray County Ambulance and Slayton Police all responded at the crash scene.
