CURRIE — A Minneota man was killed in a two-vehicle crash on U.S. Highway 59 west of Currie Monday morning, the Minnesota State Patrol said.

Dennis Keith Kor, 58, died in the crash, the State Patrol said. A 61-year-old Tyler man was also taken to Sanford Sioux Falls with life-threatening injuries.

The crash was reported at 7:27 a.m., near the intersection of Highway 59 and 156th Street in Mason Township, Murray County. A 2014 Freightliner semi driven by Kor was northbound on Highway 59, and a 2022 International straight truck driven by Michael Arthur Griffin of Tyler was southbound when the two vehicles collided, the State Patrol said.

Road conditions were snowy or icy at the time of the crash, the State Patrol said.

The Murray County Sheriff’s Office, Slayton Fire Department, Murray County Ambulance and Currie First Responders all responded at the crash scene.
