Search conducted for missing Lynd resident
LYND — The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office conducted a search Thursday for a Lynd resident who was reported missing. Sheriff Eric Wallen said the search focused on areas near the residence of Orion Charwood in Lynd. The Sheriff’s Office is also asking area residents to contact them with any information on Charwood’s whereabouts.
The Minnesota State Patrol, and members of the Lynd, Russell, Ghent and Marshall Fire Departments assisted with the search Thursday, the Sheriff’s Office said.
Charwood was last seen in the city of Lynd on Oct. 16, the Sheriff’s Office said. He is described as being 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighing 220 pounds. According to the Sheriff’s Office description, he was last seen wearing a black t-shirt for the band “Ice Nine Kills.”
The Sheriff’s Office is asking residents in Lynd, and people living between Lynd and Marshall, to check their properties and outbuildings for any signs that Charwood may have been there. The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office is asking people to contact them at 507-537-7666 with any information about Charwood or where he is.
