MARSHALL — More than 500 people came out to sample food and drinks from the Marshall area during the Taste of Marshall event Monday night.
Organizers said a total of 18 vendors took part in Taste of Marshall, ranging from restaurants to bakers, meat processors and even orchards in southwest Minnesota.
“It was a good turnout,” said Sam Lund, events specialist for the Marshall Area Chamber of Commerce.
About 504 people bought tickets to the event.
“We sold out, which was nice to see,” Lund said.
Taste of Marshall continues to draw a lot of support from the community. Lund said this was the third year in a row the event, held at the Red Baron Arena and Expo, has had a sold-out crowd.
The variety of vendors at Taste of Marshall helped highlight some of the businesses that are unique to the area, Lund said.
