Marshall child injured in New Ulm crash
NEW ULM — A child was injured in a two-vehicle crash reported Sunday afternoon in New Ulm, the Minnesota State Patrol said. A nine-year-old girl from Marshall, who was a passenger in one of the vehicles involved in the crash, was taken to New Ulm Medical Center with non life-threatening injuries, the State Patrol said.
The crash was reported at 2:50 p.m., on Minnesota Highway 15 in New Ulm. A 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by Christina Marie Donner, 38, of Marshall, and a 2017 Toyota Rav 4 driven by Valerie Rose Oak-Zeta, 41, of Moorhead, were both northbound on Highway 15 when they collided, the State Patrol said.
A child riding in the Jeep received non life-threatening injuries in the crash, the State Patrol said. Donner and two other passengers in the Jeep were uninjured. Oak-Zeta and a passenger in the Toyota were also uninjured, the State Patrol said.
The Nicollet County Sheriff’s Office, Courtland Fire Department, New Ulm Police and New Ulm fire all responded at the scene.
