The Wood Lake kiddie parade was the warm-up to the grand parade Wednesday night at the Wood Lake Community Fair. Kids dressed in costume and marched down the street with their own parade floats. At left, two young Lakeview Lakers football fans showed pride for their team, riding on a wagon decked out with streamers and goalposts. This week marked the 84th annual Wood Lake Fair. The event wrapped up three nights of fun on Wednesday, drawing a crowd to Wood Lake’s main streets. In addition to traditional fair attractions like a carnival midway the community burger stand, there was a comedy performance by the Looney Lutherans, and live music by Maiden Dixie.
