Cottonwood man injured in Hwy. 212 crash
GLENCOE — A Cottonwood man was injured in a two-vehicle crash Tuesday on U.S. Highway 212 in McLeod County, the Minnesota State Patrol said. Dane Kenneth Meyer, 61, was taken to an Allina Health facility with non life-threatening injuries, the State Patrol said.
The crash was reported at 7:08 p.m. in Glencoe Township, the State Patrol said. A Ford F-350 driven by Meyer was eastbound on Highway 212 when it collided with a 2019 Dodge Ram driven by Jacob Ryan Ackerson, 45, of Glencoe, the State Patrol said. The State Patrol reported that the crash put one vehicle in the ditch, but did not say which vehicle.
Meyer received non life-threatening injuries, and Ackerson was uninjured, the State Patrol said.
The McLeod County Sheriff’s Office and Glencoe Fire Department responded at the crash scene.
