MARSHALL — A male 16-year-old Marshall juvenile was killed in a crash Monday afternoon around 2:15 p.m., according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

The Marshall Police Department and Lyon County Sheriff’s Office responded to an injury crash going southbound on Minnesota Highway 23 and Travis Road, and is now being handled and investigated by the Minnesota State Patrol.

The identity of the juvenile and details of the accident will be released at a later time by the Minnesota State Patrol.

The accident involved the Marshall juvenile on a 2008 Harley Davidson XL1200, and 67-year-old Phyllis Kay Kennebeck of Lake Wilson who was driving a 2024 Subaru Forester, said the State Patrol. The extent of Kennebeck’s injuries has not yet been determined while the investigation in ongoing.
