MARSHALL – A male 16-year-old Marshall juvenile was killed in a crash Monday afternoon around 2:15 p.m.

The Marshall Police Department and Lyon County Sheriff’s Office responded to an injury crash going southbound on Highway 23 and Travis Road, and is now being handled and investigated by the Minnesota State Patrol.

The identity of the juvenile and details of the accident will be released at a later time by the Minnesota State Patrol.

The accident involved the Marshall juvenile on a 2008 Harley Davidson XL1200, and 67-year-old female Phyllis Kay Kennebeck of Lake Wilson driving a 2024 Subaru Forester. The extent of Kennebeck’s injuries has not yet been determined while the investigation in ongoing.

Road conditions were listed as dry.
