Flanagan to visit Marshall Sat.

“Kitchen Table Conversation” session planned

MARSHALL —  Minnesota Lt. Gov. Peggy Flanagan will be making more stops in southwest Minnesota today and tomorrow as she campaigns for U.S. Senate. Flanagan will be holding a listening session in Marshall on Saturday morning. She will also be making stops in Willmar, Montevideo and Madison, Minn., this afternoon.

Flanagan announced her Senate campaign earlier this year, and since then she has held a series of 16 “Kitchen Table Conversations” at locations around Minnesota. The list of places Flanagan has visited so far has included Wood Lake, where she spoke at the Minnesota Senate District 15 DFL convention, and Worthington.

“Folks from all walks of life are riled up by what’s going on in Washington. They want things to change, but you can’t deliver for people if you don’t hear them out, that’s why I’m meeting people where they are,” Flanagan said in a news release this week.

Flanagan will be making four stops in southwest Minnesota this weekend, starting with a Kitchen Table Conversation at Spurs Grill & Bar in Willmar today. Flanagan will also be at the Chippewa County Fair in Montevideo, and the Madison Mercantile in Madison.

On Saturday, Flanagan will be in Marshall at 9:45 a.m. Community members are asked to RSVP at https://www.mobilize.us/peggyflanaganforminnesota/event/813644/ for more information.

Starting at $3.95/week.
