Community notification info available from MPD
MARSHALL — Marshall Police said Thursday that a level 3 registered predatory offender will be moving to Marshall next week. Bradley Scott Edwards, 30, will be moving to the 600 block of West Main Street in Marshall on May 27.
Edwards is under the supervision of the Minnesota Department of Corrections’ intensive supervised release program, Marshall Police said. He has not been charged with any new criminal offenses, Police said. Police are required by state law to notify the community of Edwards relocating to Marshall.
Edwards had previously lived in Marshall. Local law enforcement and the Department of Corrections made a video presentation available to the public before he moved there in 2020. The video can be viewed on YouTube at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AccdGCfnd9A, or through a link at the Marshall Police Department’s Facebook page. A public fact sheet will also be available on the Facebook Page, Marshall Police said.
According to the Marshall Police fact sheet, Edwards was convicted of criminal sexual conduct in Redwood County. Edwards engaged in sexual contact with a teenage girl who was known to him, using force to gain compliance. Edwards was 17 at the time of the offense, the fact sheet said.
