MARSHALL — A Marshall woman charged with stealing from a local construction company appeared in Lyon County District Court Tuesday, court records said.

A future hearing date for Rikki Lee Kor, 49, was set for Nov. 12.

Kor is charged with 20 counts of check forgery, 14 counts of financial card fraud, and two counts of theft by check, court records said. That is a longer list of charges than was originally filed in Lyon County earlier this fall. An amended criminal complaint was filed Oct. 3, court records said.

The complaint alleges that Kor stole thousands of dollars while working as an accountant at KHC Construction in 2023 and 2024. Kor allegedly issued checks to herself, and used a company credit card to make unauthorized purchases of items like gift cards.

At Tuesday’s hearing, the court set a date of Nov. 12 for an omnibus hearing. At an omnibus hearing, the court determines whether there is probable cause for the charges against a defendant, and deals with other matters related to a criminal case.
