Marshall man injured in Meeker Co. crash

A Marshall man was injured in a crash involving a semi truck early Tuesday in Meeker County, the Minnesota State Patrol said. Andrew Donald Lanoye, 34, was taken to the CentraCare – St. Cloud hospital with non life-threatening injuries, the State Patrol said.

The crash was reported at 12:06 a.m. Tuesday at the intersection of Highway 15 and County Road 21 in Meeker County, the State Patrol said. A 2015 International semi driven by Tommie Lee Ellis, 78, of Bellwood, Illinois, was eastbound on County Road 21 and a 2018 Chevrolet driven by Lanoye was southbound on Highway 15 when they collided in the intersection.

Both Lanoye and Ellis received non life-threatening injuries in the crash, the State Patrol said. Lanoye was taken to CentraCare – St. Cloud, and Ellis was taken to Meeker Memorial Hospital, the State Patrol said.

The Meeker County Sheriff’s Office, Dassel Fire Department, Cokato Fire Department, Mayo Ambulance and Lifelink all responded at the crash scene.
